European School of Materials Science and Engineering

The Ecole Européenne d'Ingénieurs en Génie des matériaux was established in 1991.

Four renowned universities participate in the EEIGM programme:

• L'Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine in France.
• Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Spain.
• Luleå Tekniska Universitet in Sweden.
• Universität des Saarlandes in Germany.

The students, who come primarily from 4 partner European Universities, begin the first two years of the EEIGM programme in their respective countries and then all come to Nancy to pursue their studies together from the third year on.
