A five-year European programme

The syllabus of the first two years taught in parallel at each of the partner universities is dedicated to the acquisition of necessary scientific notions, the knowledge of problems linked to the field of materials and linguistic training ( in English, German, Spanish and French).

In the third year and during the first semester of the fourth year, all EEIGM students go to Nancy to attend courses that are mainly dedicated to materials science and processing.

Each student then chooses from among the three other partner universities, depending on the specialization he or she wishes to follow, where to pursue the second-semester course work.

Finally in the fifth year, each student chooses to attend a term of further studies at any of the four partner universities.
